We went to the Van Gogh museum with our roommates.
The guy on the bunk laughing at Stellar's antics is Darren. There's also Alvin, a Chinese-Canadian drummer who is very cool. The museum was amazing, but unlike the Orsay, when they say that there are no pictures allowed, they aren't fooling around. No pictures this time.
There was a giant metal structure that said "I amsterdam." Of course we had to climb all over it.
After the museum the girls all went shopping. You'll never guess what I got: high heels and a super-cute corset top. Maybe I'll wear the latter to the Pride parade today.
Scientology is everywhere!
This is the Dutch answer to crepes: full-on pancakes. Mine had bacon and mushrooms cooked right into the batter, and cheese on top. Mimi's was spinach and goat cheese. Absolutely divine.
Mimi and Emily went to bed early, but the boys wanted to go to the red light district and Stellar and I wanted to come along. It was really interesting, though a few of the frat-boy tourist douchebags' comments made me want to smack them.
We've been pretty lucky with the weather so far, but right now I'm getting ready to go out in the rain. Hopefully it lets up before the parade starts.
