Fishies! And more!

I went to the aquarium. Those of you who know how I get around critters might expect this to be a long and picture-heavy post, and you'd be right. The rest of you, don't say I didn't warn you.

My first impression...
The atmosphere is nice. It almost makes up for the fact that the fish are frickin' boring.
Y hallo thar squirrel. What are you doing in an aquarium?
...funhouse mirrors. Oooookay..... (hey, check out my new skirt)
Lolwut?
LOLWUT?
Dude, bats? This isn't an aquarium; it's a zoo!
CROCODILE! Haha, just kidding. It's fake.
This girl is feeding river otters. I was nearly overcome by the cuteness.
Oooh, it's that one kind of turtle whose head goes in sideways! It's called.... uuuuuh... hmmm. It's a good thing Dr. Mason isn't here, or he'd beat my ass for forgetting his herpetology lectures.
OH SHIT there's a real crocodile too!
Clearly Koreans have better impulse control than Americans. Or they obey signs better or something. These sharks were breaking water with their dorsal fins literally inches from the guardrail. If you put sharks that close to grabby hands in America, by the end of the day you would have no sharks, and some of your visitors would have no fingers.
Um, aquarium? You fail anatomy. That's not a blowhole. It's a spiracle. You can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think rays come to the surface to breathe out of those things. I actually think they lead to, you know, gills. That they breathe with. Like every other fish ever.
I TAKE BACK WHAT I SAID ABOUT THE FISHES BEING LAME.

Turns out things got cooler the farther in you got. At the end there was a glass tube-style walkway through a shark tank. I think they engineer the lighting in those places so it's impossible to get a good shot, but trust me when I say these sharks were huge and awesome. There was also a few sea turtles in with them. See that one in the picture? You know why the sharks didn't eat him? Because he's as big as the sharks.

My camera is telling me that its battery is low, and, like an idiot, I left the charger in Suwon. Uuuuuuuugggh. I'll get it next time I go, but you may soon notice a sharp drop in picture quality when I switch to taking pictures with my phone.
