You know those days - the ones where you never leave the house, never put in your contacts, and never change out of your pajamas? I love those days. Okay, I actually did put my new tie-dye dress on over my PJs, but that's just so I could eat meals in the kitchen without showing my nipples through my tank top.
Oh hey, it's an actual picture of me in an actual dress that I actually bought! Haha. God, I look like a boy in drag.
Okay, so this morning at about ten I decided I needed to sit down and write the essay. The one single solitary essay that I have to write this quarter to get the last three credits of my undergrad degree. Easy, right? Ugh. I've theorized to Kayli that when I have a full courseload, I get in the right mindset to work and I can bang out six pages while drunk and get an A+ (which she has actually witnessed me do). When I only have one thing to do, my brain is like, "Mwuh? Wha? Work? What?" Thus, it takes me twelve hours to grind out the same six pages, and they are not A+ material. Not that they have to be. It's a pass/fail class; they just need to be readable and semicoherent.
Other than that, I've been watching funny videos online, roleplaying on a forum full of preteen girls with soul-crushingly awful grammar, and arguing about feminism with film snobs on IMDb.
Tomorrow I will venture outside once more!

You look lovely in that dress.
ReplyDeleteI made it to Fort Lauderdale late last night. We stayed up until 2 am chatting. It is 10:15 am here and raining cats and dogs. I was looking forward to 85+ degree weather - NOT. Perhaps tomorrow will be different. I am first one up - reading your blog. It is nice to have a down day ha? When are you and Eunmi going to the Phantom of Opera?
BTW - dad lost his Visa card so I had cancel the account. You can cut up my card since you will not be able to use it.
Wish you an awesome day! xoxo, Mom
You have such a darling figure and I love the tie dye.
ReplyDeleteMy kids use to think the only difference between boys and girls was the length of their hair. They've grown out of that now. Spike your hair and color the ends pink!
AH! Love that on you! You look cute, so I don't know what you are talking about--Drag? Shut up!
ReplyDeleteyou probably just need to get into some school mode to get that paper done, something I have failed to do since this term has started, but who cares I am already in! ok, I do care, since I still need to pass. lol.
You are a wonderful writer, so I bet you will get more than you think out of that paper!
Ojala que descansas muchisimos y creo que puedes aprender coreano! Tu puedes todo, yo vi que tu puedes chica! Otra vez, te extrano!

Mom: Ooh, that sucks. That's like Kris going to Japan last week for vacation and getting rained in the whole time. I think I'll visit Suwon this weekend, and I'll talk to Eunmi about when she wants to go see Phantom.
ReplyDeleteEmo: You're going to regret it when I do exactly that one day. Or maybe I'll go with red or blue...
Estrella: Ah! Tratas de forzarme usar tres lenguas en un dia? Jaja. Gracias para tu confianza en mi. Buena suerte en tus clases, mi amor!
